The BBMRI-ERIC and ESBB biobank community strives for continuous improvements of our services and contributions to Life Sciences. In alignment with the EU Data Strategy, the European Open Science Cloud and ongoing needs to overcome the COVID pandemic, the aim is to evaluate available IT solutions to fulfill the increasing needs and challenges both for local Biobank Information Management Solutions and Federated Search & Data Analysis Platforms: these are the raisons d’être of the symposium.

The symposium will take place online on 21 January from 13:00 to 16:30 CET (Federated Search) and on 22 & 25 from 10:00 to 16:30 CET (BIMS). No registration fee or sponsorship applies.

The conference format will be digital. Participation will be open for all BBMRI-ERIC and ESBB members by free registration and information on how to register will follow early January.
